i was talking to Emmet Roche one of the RAI organisers this afternoon.
He confirmed that we do need formal signage to be visible to the Camper Van, even though its not going to be close to active riders during the race.
So that's a 60 fee .
HOWEVER, he doesn't see the absolute need for the Camper Van to have to undergo an inspection on the Friday, especially as i was giving him the sad story about getting access to the Van, and the driver needing to take time off work ( & indeed the trouble its causing all our team to be there on the Friday afternoon).
==> so the camper van doesn't need to be there Friday. Ideally Saturday, but they would even do it on the Sunday morning at a strech. They only need to check for lights and the above mentioned signage so its a quick job.
